Happy 5 Day Birthday Little Whitt.

This is Corey. I have finally gained enough strength and have been taken off some of my crazy meds to finally be a normal human being. It was so refreshing to be able to shower and get out of bed today. My blood pressure is still a little scattered so we are praying to get that under control. I know that God is the ultimate healer and His hand has definitely
been apparent through this whole process and still is working in outstanding ways.
I am counting down the days to get out of the hospital, feel better and see little Whitt.
Whittaker is also doing really well today, the sonogram of his brain came back and there was NO bleeding, which is a HUGE praise. He is completely off the ventilator and is breathing on his own. Praise the LORD!!!! He is definitely our little 3 pound fighter. It is crazy how I can love something so much while I have only touched the round of his foot and seen him twice. It is a great reminder of how much God really does love us as his children and how He has the power to instill so much love in us for someone else. Whittaker, Andy and  I have just begun this journey of life and are so excited. We have been told that little Whitt will probably be in the Hospital until the earliest, full term,  which is August 11th, but I am excited to see how God is going to grow and strengthen us as a family during this time. I am so thankful for every one's prayers for our family, they have been very much felt. As soon as I get out of the hospital, we will be traveling down to be with Whitt.... so we are excited for that day.
I will leave you with some pictures that were from yesterday, I have been told that he looks a lot smaller in person.... !!!!
Thank you in advance for your prayers.
Love.
Corey, Andy and Baby Whitt

I am so proud of you Wetherell's. I'm so proud of your faith, not only in God, but also in one another. You and Andy are a team, and it has def been apparent this last week.
Andy, I am especially proud of you. I will never know what it was like for you to watch your wife and babe struggle, but your faith did not waiver, and you were so strong for both of them. I know they were both stronger because of your strength. You guys are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot wait for your family to be reunited. See you tomorrow (IN HOUSTON- I just know it)!!! xoxo

Yay for the mamma! So glad to see that your strength is coming back and your pain meds have been lowered. I am praying for this to be the last day and night you have to spend in that hospital so you can high tail-it to TCH.

We are all sending our prayers daily. Even Hayden prays for baby Whitt even though she has no clue who she is praying for. Thank God for his tests coming back perfect! Now he can start growing like a little weed :)

You have a huge circle of support around you and in the way of prayers so don't feel like you are ever alone. We are all here to help in whatever means we can. Big Hugs from the Munsons.

Corey! It is so good to hear your personal update. I'm crying looking at those PRECIOUS pictures of sweet Whitt and thinking of you not able to be with him at this moment. I am praying that you can get out of that hospital and get to your son's side very quickly. You are SO STRONG! My heart is aching for you, but I know you are encouraged by seeing the Lord's hand already working in your situation. You and Andy are going the greatest parents! I love you so much and I can't wait to get down there to see y'all.

I've missed you Corey! So glad to read your post. Whittaker is one special, blessed little boy to have such wonderful parents who I know will teach him about Jesus. You and Andy have had such great strength and faith. It is truely inspiring. I love all three of you, and can't wait to see you together! Colt every once in a while asks about "that baby in the hospital"...and if we can go back to see him. :) We can't wait!
